After-School and Summer Program
“I am writing this letter to inform you that I enjoy being part of the Casa Otoñal After School & Summer Program. My son, Michael Lee and I have attended different parent and child activities. I enjoy learning new things and visiting different places with my son. My son enjoyed making a musical instrument at the Eli-Whitney Museum. This program has made it fun and interesting for children to enjoy museums, libraries, and other activities. I think the program is doing a good job introducing children and families to be creative and visiting different places together.”
- Mrs. Gloria Lee
Casa Otoñal, Inc.’s After-School and Summer Program serves children ages 6-12. The program provides serves to low income, minority youth (primarily, Latino) in the New Haven community. Up to 80 children are served by the program yearly. The goal of the program is to provide children with a safe fun-filled alternative to the street. It is our hope that our influence encourages students to develop new skills and interests.
